We attended a concert by a band we had never seen before. It was quite an expirience I will admit. It was hosted in the home of a rather wealthy family and trying to find this home in the dark was a adventure in of itself. The band "Levi" headlined the concert and they were remarkably talented to say the least. Brandon Pike opened with his guitar and very talented vocals and Karen Elizabeth played her first concert ever with a voice unlike any and a musical talent few have. It was one of my favorite concerts even if it didn't include any headbanging or mosh pits. Of course as tradition we stopped for mexican food on the way home. I regret to say we do not have any pictures but I will post links to some of the musicians so you can check them out! I highly recommend you do.

Update
When our summers became increasingly busy we found it impossible to complete the list, a month into our new school year and we have reached a decision, we will still complete it. A few things on the list will require some editting since I'm convinced death is a possiblilty if we so chose to jump in the river fully clothed this time of year, so we will switch out a few with new ideas. If you have any please contribute!

Campfire on the Beach :)
During our church's EDventure Camp we had an opportunity to have a campfire on the beach! It was tons of fun and shared with many people we loved! Our greatest adventure was getting back to the vans in the pitch dark when e nearly lost a child into the river, but we made it all safely :) Glow sticks, marshmellows, frozen burgers and sand everywhere, now that's a lot of fun! :p
Love you all! :)

Buckaroo!
On July 4th Britto and I attended Molalla's remarkably popular Buckaroo. A opportunity for young women, and even the old to get by with very little clothing, and beer cup in one hand and a cigarette in the other. The true description of white-trash Molalla, however it is indeed a blast. The crazy cowboys being flung around on even crazier bulls. Women flying around obstacles of barrels on their remarkable young geldings, the delicious and fat injected food you can only find at a fair. There is a rather small fair with a few thrilling rides and of course the thousands of people that flood our tiny Molalla for such an event. So after the unending parade, a couple barbeque's and adventures Britto and I accompanied by a fleet of friends made our way to the Buckaroo. This year consisted of unusually cool weather so the closest we got to "daisy duke" was a plaid shirt for her and a pair of purple cowgirl boots for me. We ate a elephant ear, sipped some lemonade and watched the excitement. Despite it's lack of morality the Molalla Buckaroo is something to be proud of!
Love lots!

MarioKart Tournament
So as you know our list included hosting a MarioKart tournament! We were thrilled to host this and did so with an unexpected twist. Our neighbors have rather young puppies and as a friend and I went over to say hello we found them ill....again. The neighbors were not home so we carted 6 of the 9 puppies to my house and began feeding them peanut butter and sugar water. So our MarioKart tournament also became puppy rehab. Many helped feed horses while others battled it out on the Wii. It turned out to be quite fun and rather successful despite our distraction!
P.S. We have many pictures however I am not at the correct computer to post them, I will ASAP! :)

The Zoo! :)
Saturday we visited the beautiful Portland Zoo! Britto and I along with several great friends adventured around enjoying talking to, naming and even making fun of all the animals. In fact our giraffe was even lovingly named Morgan Freeman, I'm not sure why...maybe it just fit. Of course like we promised Britto and I posed like penguins in front of the polar bear exhibit. With the gorgeous weather, great friends and a amazing zoo our day was definately an unforgettable one!
Thanks for reading! :)

Hard-core workout video
So this weekend was a rather eventful one. Two bands from Cali were on tour and crashed at my house for two nights, after spending as much time with them as we did and going to one of their shows we came to a new conclusion- hardcore dancing is indeed quite a workout. It instantly became a perfect "bucket-list" idea. So killing two birds with one stone (creating a hard-core workout video and making a youtube video) this is what we came up with! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8T3C3AjRF0
P.S. To save any future confusion, lizz and britto randomly switched names for the video....
